| Value | 注 1．本表は第17表b．の給料表に対応する．ただし給料表は明治9年以降各省別にえられるのに，それに対応する人員表のほうは，明治14年以前は総数のみで省別の数字がえられない． 2．北海道は，明治14年までは開拓使である． 3．「その他」は，警視庁（明9，10，13），臨時建築局（明19），各府県および台湾総督府（明29，30）の傭外国人である． 4．本表には，外務省の名誉領事の数は含んでいない．その数は次のとおり．明22（16），明23（15），明24（15），明25（17），明26（18），明27（19），明28（17），明29（21），明30（21），明31（22）である． 5．本表の計数のうち，文部省傭外国人の人数は『文部省年報』によって，明治6年以降次の2系列の数字がえられる．このうち『帝国統計年鑑』の数字に連結できるのはa系列で，明治18，23年を除いてほぼ一致する． 6．傭外国人の統計が『帝国統計年鑑』でえられるのは，『日本帝国第十八統計年鑑』（明治32年12月刊行）による明治31年までの数字である． | |||||||||||||
